With over 96 percent of the results uploaded on INEC’s Results Viewing Portal (IReV), the Edo State governorship election is shaping up to be a regional contest. Senator Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading in the Edo North Senatorial District, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Asue Ighodalo, is ahead in the Edo South Senatorial District. A total of 4,439 out of 4,519 results have been uploaded, with the final outcome yet to be declared.
