The draw for Round 2 of the 2024/2025 Carabao Cup has been officially released, featuring thirteen Premier League clubs not participating in European competitions, along with Burnley, Luton Town, and the winners from Round 1. The fixtures, scheduled for the week beginning August 26, 2024, will see the competition split into Northern and Southern sections.

The EFL confirmed that with 47 teams already through to Round 2, Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth Argyle, and Middlesbrough secured their spots by winning their Round 1 matches.
