Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has announced the appointment of Hon. Gani Audu as his new Chief of Staff. According to a statement released on Friday by Fred Itua, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, the appointment is effective immediately.
The official communication, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Musa Umar Ikhilor, highlighted that Audu’s role will be instrumental in assisting Governor Okpebholo with implementing key reforms aimed at the development of Edo State.
“It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly the good people of Edo State, that His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State, has approved the appointment of Hon. Gani Audu as his Chief of Staff. The appointment takes immediate effect,” stated the announcement.
