Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, emphasized the urgent need for collective action to address Nigeria’s rising inflation, unemployment, and cost of living, which have fueled concerns about the country’s future. Speaking during the 64th Independence anniversary celebration in Abeokuta, Abiodun noted that the current challenges require immediate and sustained effort from both the government and citizens.
Abiodun reassured that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is actively working to reverse the country’s economic trajectory, and his government is aligning with federal initiatives for economic recovery. He called for unity and patience as Nigerians work together to overcome adversity and build a stronger, more prosperous nation.
