Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen delivered standout performances as the Super Eagles secured a 3-0 victory over Benin Republic in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Lookman opened the scoring just before halftime with an impressive solo effort, dribbling past multiple defenders. Despite some resistance from Benin Republic, substitute Osimhen extended Nigeria’s lead in the second half, with Lookman adding his second goal to seal the win. Nigeria will face Rwanda next in Kigali on Tuesday.
