Following Manchester United’s disappointing 3-0 defeat to Liverpool, manager Erik Ten Hag has urged his team to remain humble and focus on improving their performance.

Liverpool’s Luiz Diaz scored twice, and Mohamed Salah added another goal, leading to a humiliating loss for Manchester United at Old Trafford last Sunday.

In his post-match interview, Ten Hag acknowledged that while the first 30 minutes of the game were competitive, a defensive error led to Liverpool capitalizing on their opportunities. “The game was level at first, but we made a significant mistake that Liverpool exploited with their quality,” Ten Hag explained.

He emphasized the need for humility and praised Liverpool for their performance, though he expressed his disappointment with the result. “We have to accept the result, but we must bounce back,” Ten Hag stated. “We need to improve both as a team and individually, and work on our fitness. Our goals remain intact, and we still have plenty to play for this season.”
