On August 7, 2024, President Bola Tinubu appointed Aminu Masari, the former governor of Katsina State, as Chairman of the reconstituted board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
The announcement was made in a statement by presidential spokesman Chief Ajuri Ngelale. The new board also includes Senator Sani Danladi, Mr. Sunday Adepoju, Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Mr. Turaki Ibrahim, and Mr. Aboh Eduyok.
President Tinubu emphasized that the board’s role is crucial in supporting and improving the quality of tertiary education in Nigeria.
