IBADAN – The Vice Chancellor of McPherson University, Professor Francis Igbasan, has encouraged the 15 newly inducted nurses who graduated from the university to seize every opportunity in their careers.

During the maiden induction ceremony for the university’s nursing science program, Professor Igbasan emphasized the importance of practical skills and people management learned during their internships. He reminded the inductees that nursing is an art requiring empathy, clear communication, care, and emotional intelligence.

Held at the University’s Multipurpose Hall in Seriki-Sotayo, Ogun State, the event attracted dignitaries from various sectors. In his address, Professor Igbasan urged the new nurses to be patient and kind to themselves as they embark on their professional journeys. He advised them to seek mentors and role models for guidance and support and to always remember their passion for nursing.
