Nigerian skit maker Denilson Igwe has accused his former partner, Mark Angel, of falsely claiming that Emmanuella, his protégé, bought a house for her parents. Naija News recalls a video from 2020 where Emmanuella was shown presenting a house to her parents.
In a new video released by the organisers of the Honest Bunch podcast, Denilson stated that Mark Angel lied about Emmanuella purchasing the house. He pointed out that the teenage skit maker was unaware of the cost of building materials and that Mark Angel controls her social media accounts.
Denilson also mentioned that there are numerous males living in Mark Angel’s house, where Emmanuella and Success, both grown females, currently reside.
In addition, Denilson revealed that he parted ways with Mark after discovering that he was being cheated along with the rest of the crew. He shared that Mark was initially working as a security guard at Kilimanjaro, GRA, Port Harcourt before they began filming their skits.
Denilson claimed he was responsible for the videography content of Mark Angel’s Comedy, which Mark posted on Facebook, but he was not informed when their social media page got monetized. He also alleged that Mark did not share any of the monetization proceeds with him until 2016, when he received ₦50,000 after Mark bought a car for himself.
Furthermore, Denilson accused Mark of paying their top star, Emmanuella, only ₦20,000 monthly, despite earning $160,000 monthly from the Mark Angel Comedy’s Facebook revenue.
