The Bauchi State Police Command has successfully rescued four individuals kidnapped by bandits who invaded Raddi village in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. The bandits had targeted the house of one Yakubu Makeri. The police, along with local vigilantes, swiftly responded to the scene, engaging the bandits in a gun battle. During the encounter, three kidnapped victims—Pastor Bala, Keziya Ayuba, and Sunday Ayuba—were rescued. The Commissioner of Police has ordered increased patrols in the area to apprehend the fleeing bandits.
